Fees & Insurance

Clients may pay for services using cash, check, credit card or PayPal. 

For clients who are unable to pay the full fee, reduced-fee sessions are available with highly-experienced, licensed associates. See more at www.happyapplenyc.com. Upon your request and consent, licensed associates can collaborate with Dr. Vaughan and other practitioners to ensure you receive extremely thorough and customized care.

Please note that this practice is an out-of-network provider, and payment is made at the time of each session. However, we can submit billing statements to your insurance company on your behalf to facilitate reimbursement and claims tracking.

If you plan to seek third party reimbursement, it is advised that you contact your insurance company prior to the first session and ask the following questions:

What percentage of my bill will covered for services obtained from an out-of-network provider? 

How many sessions will be covered per calendar year?

What is my yearly deductible? Has it been met?

What is my co-payment?

Are video (aka teletherapy) sessions covered by my plan? If so, at what rate? (If seeking video sessions)
